Heathrow hotels are an option if you are staying overnight for an early flight from Heathrow Airport, also if you are working nearby.  Near terminals 1,2and 3 there are quite a few, but I think a lot of the time prices are quite high for the service you get.   Being a traveller who passes by once and that is it you are not treated very well.  There are some hotels that have a very good attitude but it also depends on the staff that day. Near Terminals 4 and 5 there are not so many hotels, The cottage guest house is an AA 4 star bed and breakfast that is featured in AA Britains best B&B guide, in 2009 there were 4 B&Bs featured in this guide that were in Greater London, the cottage was one.  Being about 2 or 3 miles from Terminals 1,2,3,or4, we are a good option for a stopover.
