The cottage guest house, near Heathrow we are disappointed that the BA strike has started.  Quite a few flights have been delayed or cancelled today.  With BA getting the strike cancelled for last week, then the union went to court and got the go ahead on appeal, so this few weeks are not looking too good. But if you need accommodation in a B&B or Hotel near Heathrow, here at The Cottage Guest House we are about 2 or 3 miles from terminals 1,2,3, or 4.  Unfortunately terminal 5 is about 4or 5 miles away. BA staff are planning strikes, Unite, the trade union that represents the majority of British Airways (BA) cabin crew, has announced its intention to take further strike action on the following dates:

• 18  to 22 May
• 24 to 28 May
• 30 May to 3 June
• 5 to 9 June                                                                                                                                                 At this stage, BA intend to operate a range of flights during the strike period. Not all flights will be cancelled.
• Flights from London Gatwick and London City airports will be unaffected.
  Flights operated by BA franchise, codeshare and oneworld partners will continue to operate as normal.

The Cottage is a B&B near Windsor, being suitable for tourists or business travel.  Windsor is a few miles down the M4, we are about 2 minutes drive from M4junction 3.  Turning off of M4 onto A312 then left on  High Street Cranford.  Windsor Castle or Legoloand are about a 20 minute drive away and we have a car park, so if you are thinking of driving there, you can leave your car here overnight in the car park, which has secure electronic gates.  Thorpe Park is also driving distance from here and we have family rooms, to keep the price of accommodation down and keep an eye on the kids as well. 

Here at The Cottage it is suitable for a B&B near Heathrow and being peaceful as we are not under the flightpath.   With BA strikes likely to be coming up again soon, keep us in mind if you are looking for a Heathrow B&B or Heathrow hotel.

The Cottage Guest House is a 4 star B&B near Heathrow.  We have an on site car park which is available free when you are staying here. Thorpe Park is within about a 20 minute drive, we also have family rooms available, so if you are taking the kids for a day out and are looking for somewhere with parking why not give us a try.  Windsor is also about a twenty minute drive from here, most of our customers are repeat customers, who know our service and realise that around London it is not that easy to find a B&B as there are mostly hotels.  Our address is the cottage guest house 150-152 high street cranford TW5 9WB, about 2 or 3 minutes drive from M4 junction 3.
