The Cottage Guest House is a 4 star B&B near Heathrow.  We have an on site car park which is available free when you are staying here. The Cottage guest House is a 4  star Heathrow B&B, situated about 2 miles form terminal 3.  Heathrow cancellations continue after yesterdays disastrous day.   The wind seems not to be moving the cloud of ash away quick enough, as of 16/04 at 15.20 the latest news is that Heathrow will have all flights cancelled until at least 7 am tomorrow.  If you are stranded at Heathrow and are looking for somewhere to stay we have rooms at our B&B  available for tonight.  But please phone to avoid disappointment, as the situation is constantly changing.  4 star B&B about 2 miles from Heathrow , telephone number 02088971815, (the cottage guest house) 150-152 high street cranford.  For your comfort please read independent reviews before booking anywhere.

The cottage guest house is a B&B near Heathrow, we have a car park for leaving your car overnight while staying with us.  All rooms are ensuite with good showers, as we are 4 star our standard is quite good according to our customers, to confirm this please see independent reviews.   If you are delayed at Heathrow because of the volcanic ash, and need a room for tonight, 15th April 2010 (sorry full for tonight now), it is best if you phone us as availability is limited.  If you want you can also book online.  We are also near toThorpe park and Windsor.  On the news it just said it is the first time in history UK airspace has been closed down like this.

The Cottage guest House is about 2 or 3 miles away from Heathrow terminal 3. Terminal 1 and 4 are same distance, with terminal 5 being about 4 or 5 miles away. We use a mini cab company that are quite reliable, if you need their number you can contact us for details.  BA strike is starting again for the second week, with the union and management not appearing to be near settlement.  Things are not looking great also it looks like their might be a rail strike, so trains could also be running slow or late.  With Easter also getting near it looks like it is getting busy, so please enquire or book early to avoid disappointment.

With the BA strike confirmed for this weekend and next weekend.  There will almost certainly be a lot of cancellations and delays on British Airways flights.  BA say they are chartering flights and calling on other staff to cover for some of the affected flights, but I am sure it will not be enough. with American unions and some other European unions offering support to Unite (the union representing BA workers), it could get quite nasty worldwide.  If overseas unions get involved it could get very difficult for BA to refuel, clean and provide food and cleaning for flights.  If you are travelling make sure you confirm your flight is okay before leaving home.

4 star B&B heathrow 2.5 miles away, phone us on 02088971815 for availability and best prices.  Cooked breakfast is included in room price if you do not want breakfast, please inform us as provisions are freshly purchased.  Wifi is available just ask for your logon details when you arrive, all rooms are en-suite. If you are looking for a Heathrow B&B with parking, the cottage guest house is a couple of miles from Terminals 1,2 or 3.  We are situated in Cranford high street, our security gates are just off of the high street in a small driveway next to the jolly gardeners pub. All of our rooms are ensuite and all have hospitality trays, also having fridge, iron, hairdryer and giving a good cooked breakfast. Being 4 star and in AA britains best B&B guide, we consider ourselves to be good quality and good value, as do most of our customers.  We do not have a restaurant but the Queens Head pub is a couple of minutes walk away and do pub food or Thai, which is good.  We can give you the phone number of a cab company if you need to get to or from Heathrow Airport, which might be good if you are in transit or your flight is delayed.  We are also about 20 minutes drive from Windsor or Thorpe Park.  Our phone number is 0208971815 if you need to book or phone for best prices.

Heathrow hotels are normally big and choatic. The Cottage guest house is a quiet B&B near Heathrow you can to us from Heathrow by bus 105 or 11, from Heathrow Central bus terminal, which is near terminals 1,2 and 3.  We are 4 star and quiet,  if you have a car we have a secure car park.  There is a local mini cab company we use who are quite economical and reliable.  As we are a quiet B&B we we have no bar or restaurant, but recommend the queens head pub which has a Thai restaurant or ordinary pub food.  if you need more info please call us on 02088971815, in January we are giving rooms from £50.
