Over the years I have found that in London the tourist season starts more or less at the time of the ideal home Show in Earls Court.  The show is on for about 3 weeks and finishes near Easter, which is when the tourists pick up a bit, then the week after easter is European holidays when the season really kicks in.  Flight prices from Heathrow normally get a bit more expensive as well.  Even though the main tourist visiting times are in July and August.  There are various events, such as Wimbledon tennis, this years twenty20 cricket world cup and flower shows etc going on for most of the year.  If you are travelling to London don’t forget to check our prices and availability at The Cottage Guest House, we are near Heathrow and hope you will be our guest.  Our phone number is +44(0)2088971815.

Recently Clickair, Iberia and British Airways flights to Barcelona, Helsinki, Lisbon, Madrid and Nice have changed termnals and now operate from terminal 3.  Heathrow also looks likely to pick up passenger traffic after the disappointing figures for February.  It is a good idea if you are travelling from Heathrow to check which terminal you leave from beforehand.  At the Cottage Guest House we have some parking available if you are travelling in the near future and decide to stay here.  Phone us to see what kind of deal we can give you.  0044 (0)2088971815.

The royal tattoo is in Windsor, 13-16 May 2009.  At the Cottage In cranford we are waiting to welcome visitors.  Being about 15 minutes drive away and just 2 minutes drive from junction 3 of M4, we are ideal if you are driving there and looking for somewhere to stay overnight.  We are AA 4 star and featured in AA best B&b Guide.

With the pound being so weak at the moment, the country is hoping for a good summer for the tourist industry.  We have not seen so many american tourists over the last few years with the dollar being 2-1 against the pound.  Thanks to the housing market and banks plus a lot of other factors, that has all changed.  Therefore all is not doom and gloom, for us at the cottage guest house we like to think that we are value for money, our repeat customers appreciate our level of service and friendliness.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank our regular customers, the best thing we can do is do our best for you.

If you are coming to London for Wimbledon tennis, The Cottage Guest House is near Heathrow.  We have a car park and are AA 4 star.  Alternately if you are just working in London and looking for somewhere decent to stay, we are in Cranford which is suitable for Hayes, Southall, Uxbridge and also Stockley Park is near.  Sometimes discounts are available depending on availability, just give us a call.  We are 2 minutes drive from M4 junction 3.

If you are travelling to Heathrow this week, Please enquire over the phone for your discount.  The cottage is situated near toTerminal 4 or you can get the bus number 105 or 111 to cranford high street.  We are next to Cranfield community College, also David LLoyd gymn is just down the road.  To get to us just walk down the side road next to the Jolly Gardeners pub, as we are not on the High Street as such.  You can better info by visiting the pages on the right hand menu.
