Today is a nice summer’s day and if you are flying from Heathrow it would be ideal to relax in our garden before taking your flight.  June looks quite busy as Wimbledon tennis is approaching, although we have rooms available at present for later on in the month.  Before that is the annual tournament at Queen’s, which is nowhere near as big as Wimbledon but a good warm-up.   From outside the Cottage there is a direct bus to Hampton court, if you are thinkng of going to the flower show there, which takes place in early July or if you are coming by car you can take advantage of our secure car park while you are resident here.

The cottage has rooms available for Wimbledon 2009, suitable if you are driving as we have a secure gated car park, monitored by CCTV.  Being near heathrow it is a few miles drive to Wimbledon, but hopefully you can appreciate our hospitality and breakfast.  Central London is also about an 8 mile drive, but as we are just 2 minutes drive away from M4 motorway (junction 3) it does not take long if you avoid the rush hour.  Our address is 150-152 high street Cranford.  Our entrance is in a mews just off of the High Street, very near to Cranford Community College, if you head for The Jolly Gardeners pub we are in the cottages just off of the main road, inside the gates.

Being near heathrow we are used to taking last minute bookings and if you do not feel like using online services you can phone us on +44(0)2088971815. Bus number 105 stops outside Cranford Community College which is a couple of minutes walk to us. Or the cab company that we use charges about £10 from Heathrow for a normal sized car, but phone us and we can give you their number to confirm directly with them. If you are going to Legoland or windsor, they are about 15 minutes drive away, as is Thorpe Park. Here there is a secure gated car park which is covered by cctv. The Cottage is a 4 star guest house, which has many repeat guests, so if you are visiting or working in London why not give us a try.

We have a lot of availability for the Wimbledon period at present.  Being near to heahrow we are a bit of a way off, but if you need somewhere with a car park, that is secure and peaceful and quiet keep us in mind.  The peace and tranquility of our garden is an ideal place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the day.  Being 1 of only 4 B&Bs in London that is featured in this years AA Best B&Bs, you know that the AA inspectors think we are good as well.  As with everything it is best to judge for yourself, so please look on any site which you think is suitable to seek independent reviews.  Most of all wherever you stay in London I hope you have a pleasant stay.

We have discounted rooms available for this weekend, if you are going to London marathon or even just driving into london.  The Cottage is just off of junction 3 of M4, which is about 15 minutes drive from Windsor, we also have a car park for you while residing here.  Thorpe park and legoland are also about a 15 minute drive away.   Being near to Heathrow but without much plane noise, as we are not under the flight path.  As Heathrow parking is notoriously unreliable, we have a very small amount of parking for people who want to leave a small car while going on holiday.  All parking must be clearly booked in advance and we will charge £5 per day while you are not a paying resident here.  There are electric security gates for anybody or cars entering and leaving the premises which are monitoreed by cctv cameras.  Parking must be arranged by phoning us on +44(0)2088971815.  We like to think our reputation and our clients are important, so if you are not sure about us please check our online reviews.  We are an AA 4 star guest house.

The Cottage Guest House is suitable for British Airways and other passengers or staff using Heathrow, but want to rest before travelling or after a long flight.  Our car park has security gates and we are very secure here.  Not being under the flight path we are also quiet, with most airlines also feeling the pinch it is also a good time to take advantage of the deals that are available at present.  For British airways staff the concorde club is walking distance from here, also cranebank is only about a mile away.   Being AA 4 star and in Britains Best B&B Guide you can re assured of our quality, it is possible for you to book online or just phone us if you need more info, +44(0)2088971815.  We are also a short drive to Windsor and Legoland.

Only a couple of weeks left for the London Marathon, as usual it is not great weather in London at present.  Here at the cottage guest house we have rooms available, also for Easter.  Things are looking a bit busier this month, next we will be getting ready for Wimbledon tennis.  Being near to Heathrow we are suitable for people who have an early flight, or do not want to drive to Heathrow and fly the same day.  I hope you can trust our standard as we are an AA 4 star guest house.  We are also in AA Britains Best B&B guidebook, which only has 4 B&Bs in London published there.

Over the years I have found that in London the tourist season starts more or less at the time of the ideal home Show in Earls Court.  The show is on for about 3 weeks and finishes near Easter, which is when the tourists pick up a bit, then the week after easter is European holidays when the season really kicks in.  Flight prices from Heathrow normally get a bit more expensive as well.  Even though the main tourist visiting times are in July and August.  There are various events, such as Wimbledon tennis, this years twenty20 cricket world cup and flower shows etc going on for most of the year.  If you are travelling to London don’t forget to check our prices and availability at The Cottage Guest House, we are near Heathrow and hope you will be our guest.  Our phone number is +44(0)2088971815.

Recently Clickair, Iberia and British Airways flights to Barcelona, Helsinki, Lisbon, Madrid and Nice have changed termnals and now operate from terminal 3.  Heathrow also looks likely to pick up passenger traffic after the disappointing figures for February.  It is a good idea if you are travelling from Heathrow to check which terminal you leave from beforehand.  At the Cottage Guest House we have some parking available if you are travelling in the near future and decide to stay here.  Phone us to see what kind of deal we can give you.  0044 (0)2088971815.
